I finally decided to go onto my Youtube for once and I found out that I have 2 copyright stikes from my old GDW Music Videos. Since I don't want the "go to court" thing should I just delete and start anew?
Update: After deleteing the 2 videos(I don't really care for them that much anymore anyway) I found out that the I now only have 1 strike. I guess the 6 month time limit was up for one of the videos but the other ain't going away anytime soon. Still contemplating If I want to make a back-up account though.

Mood:
Nervous
You could always re-upload everything on your new account and tell everybody.
But I thought Youtube protected you from that kinda stuff by deleting/muting copyrighted videos
But then again I guess there are over a million vids for all of Youtube to protect....
what's trying to get you, anyway?
Copy-paste cause you failed to scroll down -_-.
If not, check this out:
"Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news, reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use."
Just explain to youtube that you used it under fair use. No one is gonna sue you into court. Also, watch out WHO is actually trying to get your videos deleted. I had fake claims for rearranged disney music by a fake Walt Disney Music Group (WDMG), whereas I knew instantly without googling that it was fake, for copyright claims are managed by WED Enterprises themselves. Google them first and check if they actually HAVE a legitimate claim.
I don't know if that "as long as I don't make money it's free advertising" thing works now a days.
Ether way I like the update says, I only have one strike now, the other expired.so I might be "ok" but when I do post another video up, expect either pubic domain music or no sound.
